Assassin's Creed Mirage
Ubisoft returns to the basics with narrative-driven roots that defined Altair and Ezio’s earliest adventures in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Set in Baghdad, this action-focused gameplay will have you take on the role of the street thief Basim practicing stealth, parkour, and assassinations. As classic fans of the iconic franchise, the trailer is sure to get you excited.
Destiny 2: Lightfall
Destiny 2 players can look forward to heading to a cyberpunk-esque city in Neptune for the next chapter of Destiny 2, Lightfall. Bungee has confirmed many big changes including new locations, a new subclass and a new damage type. New and returning players can enjoy the expansive experience as there are also Fortnite and Fall Guys crossover events coming as well.
The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom
Nintendo’s major sequel to arguably one of the best games ever made is FINALLY coming out next year! Just like always, we’ll see our hero Link return to the land of Hyrule on another breathtaking adventure with plenty of exploration upon gorgeous lands. In Tears Of The Kingdom, you’ll also have the ability to visit lands in the sky, bringing back memories of Skyward Sword. We cannot wait for the new puzzles and to hear more of the captivating details on the new storyline.
Are you ready to delve into the deepest dungeons of the newest Diablo game? Blizzard’s demon-slaying action-RPG game series has various classes you can use to take on hordes of monsters. New playable classes with unique combat skils includes druids, wizards, and rogues. Unlike the existing Diablo games, this now open-world game lets you seamlessly explore dungeons, enjoy player-vs-player gameplay, and brave a variety of side quests. If you’ve never played a Diablo game before, you might just want to try out Pappy’s favorite Diablo 2, and set off into the dark fantasy world that Diablo has to offer.
This franchise is niche, but fans are loud and proud about the announcement of Pikmin 4 on the way for the Nintendo Switch. With the recent trailer teases, it’s revealed that it’ll take place at ground-level in a garden environment featuring adorable tiny Pikmin. Players will get to explore just like these miniature guys, in a normal world where humanity is extinct. Story doesn’t play the biggest role in the series, but you can definitely take time exploring the backlog of lore before.
The Wolf Among Us 2
Fairy of Games
The long-anticipated sequel to TellTale Games’ The Wolf Among Us is happening. Next year, we return to Fabletown with our classic characters Biby Wolf, Snow White, and other fairy tale characters living their life in the human world. In this detective-style game, we’ll have yet another gripping mystery to solve in New York City. Now’s the time to catch up on the first Wolf Among Us game, because this series of episodic adventures will have you yearning for more of the Fables comic book series.
Skull and Bones
Set during the ‘Golden Age of Piracy,” Ubisoft allows you to raise the black flag and set sail. Conquering the dangerous, high seas as a pirate, you’ll be in charge of it all. Take hold of the ship’s navigation, crew management, fight in combat, and discover valuable loot. Get ready to find explorable islands and start your path to becoming the most infamous pirate.
Resident Evil 4
Over the recent years, the Resident Evil remakes have thrilled us with nostalgia and allowed us to relive the classic survival-horror experience. This 2023, Capcom has “reimagined” the original 2005 Resident Evil 4 story. Introducing modernized gameplay, a revived storyline, and stunning animation along with 4K visuals, our terrifying venture with Leon is sure to be unforgettable.
Kirby’s Return to Dreamland: Deluxe

Our tough puff Kirby is back to Planet Popstar, where you can even share new adventures with up to three friends. In this remake of the Wii game, this third-person 2.5D side-scrolling platformer can give you the chance to enjoy some of Kirby’s best gaming experience. With a few additions to the original game, graphics have been updated and a new copy ability called Mecha, where Kirby can defeat enemies from range. There are also new and returning sub-games to extend all the endless fun that Kirby has to offer.
Dead Island 2

Rising from the dead, a new trailer at Gamescom 2022 confirmed Dead Island 2 would launch in early 2023. Find yourself in Banoi, where the entirety of the tropical island is infected with zombies, until the outbreak reaches California. Prepare to equip yourself with tactical weapons from a katana to a shotgun and brutally fight your way through the zombie horde. Whether you decide to play single-player or co-op with friends, this intense and gory first-person gameplay is sure to get your heartrate going.
Along with these upcoming games, we’ve also seen a lot of excitement for Ark II, Spider-man 2, Dead Space, Hogwarts Legacy, Final Fantasy VII, and more. The growing list of new titles releasing in 2023 is living up to the new year hype for sure, and we all can’t wait to start our next adventures.
